Acquires complete assets of
Medo Manufacturing
FOR IMMEIATE RELEASE, February 24, 2005 Lake
Forest, Illinois USA; Trifinity Partners, Incorporated, a privately
held Illinois Specialized distribution and manufacturing company
has completed the purchase of Medo Manufacturing in Baltimore,
MD. This company has been renamed, Trifinity Manufacturing, Baltimore
LLC.
Trifinity will continue operations at this facility, which employs
over 225. This facility is the world largest manufacturing facility
of car fresheners. Medo® stood for the initials
of three East Coast brothers who started selling fruit-scented
liquid targeted at the automotive market. Today, the line covers
a wide spectrum of scents and state-of-the-art delivery systems,
including the familiar leaf shaped design of the Ultra Norsk®
line. MEDO's warehouse facility, located in Baltimore, Maryland
has over 300,000 square feet of space devoted to cutting edge
production, shipping, receiving and manufacturing. Medo®
became part of Quaker State Corporation, which later merged with
Pennzoil Company to become the Pennzoil-Quaker State Company.
Shell Oil Company, an affiliate of the Royal Dutch / Shell Group
of Companies, acquired Pennzoil - Quaker State Company in 2002.
In May of 2003, Pennzoil-Quaker State Company began doing business
as SOPUS Products. SOPUS Products markets Shell, Pennzoil and
Quaker State motor oils, a portfolio of car care products and
Jiffy Lube® services.

and Clayton B. Bolke stated “We are very excited with
this acquisition, it will allow Trifinity to expand our presence
to the East Coast and South East States, not only with products
currently manufactured at this facility, but will also allow expansion
at this facility to our current contract packaging specialties”.
Trifinity also plans on adding approximately 100 jobs over the
next Twelve (12) Months. The acquisition allows SOPUS the ability
to continue marketing US manufactured products in a time where
overseas manufacturing usually wins out.
Mr. Merlo stated, “The City of Baltimore, Mayor Martin
O’Malley was instrumental as was Councilman Edward Reisinger
and Richard L. Escalante Senior Economic Development Officer The
Baltimore Development Corporation.” “We have
been welcomed to Baltimore.” We intend to become a good
neighbor.
Trifinity began full operation on February 27, 2006.

Chicago, Illinois represented Trifinity in the acquisition.
